From 1978 to 1983 Gary Xie received his training at Gansa College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lanzhai Gansu. P.R. China and earned his doctorate in Oriental Medicine. After graduation, he started his career in both teaching and practicing Chinese medicine having taken the position of assistant professsor, lecturer and associate professor at Gansu College and its affiliate hospital for 16 years. During this period he specialized in neuromuscular disease and hypersensitivity diseases such as sciatica, tri-facial neuralgia, arthroneuralgia, arthritis, asthma, irritable bowel syndrome, eczema, allergic contact dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, nasosinuitis, etc. While in China, Gary was extremely fortunate to team with several master doctors of Chinese medicine and received their invaluable guidance. After practicing in Chicago the past 6 years Gary has become highly attuned to the differences between the physiological constitution and pathological trends of Chinese and American patients. He is confident that he can accomplish his mission of healing American people by using the long-standing ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
